Described by her followers as the “Mother of Cyborgs”, she has created a universe where robots and humans live in total harmony.

The Turkish artist has always been intrigued by our relationship with technology, how it can change the way we perceive the world and the way we understand ourselves.

Despite their supernatural appearance, Beryl Bilici’s digital artworks explore what makes us human. In an interview, the “Mother of Cyborgs” explained why her response to this curiosity was to create a universe where robots and humans lived in total harmony.

Through her supernatural digital artworks, Beryl Bilici explores cyberculture to discover what it means to be human. The works created are hybrids or human-cyborg interactions to enhance the duality and struggle between our physical and virtual identities and experiences.

“I fell in love with a world where humans and machines coexist harmoniously and envisioned a future where the boundaries of the physical form are transcended, where robots and humans merge not only in body but also in spirit.” Her beautiful, ethereal characters are a clash of warm flesh and cold metallic machinery.
