The story of the photographer and visual artist begins in the digital medium. Derrick Boateng’s photos are taken with an iPhone and digitally retouched, turning the images into works of art with a strong expression.

The artist justifies his technique and use of mobile phones with the greater closeness it has with people. It all started when he casually took pictures of everyday life using his father’s iPhone.
